Hello, everyone.

I've been spending time dabbling, a bit in DCUO, (leveled two characters to 30, started a few others), GW2, Rift, and now I have re-upped my subscription to CO. I've come up with a few new character ideas and a group/guild concept, and I felt CO was the best place to explore. I've been spending more time (very recently) in CO, and I have gotten into some new/random RP there that has been fun as I explore my two new characters.

Anyone who may be interested in joining in, feel free to look me up in-game or make some contact here.

I'd also be happy to join with any existing groups/RP anyone has going in any of those games. Please let me know.

Still going strong in CO with lots of people and fun RP. I will also be away on a short vacation, so I do not expect to be online from Thursday evening to Tuesday morning.

I am still playing CO (I love the holiday Event), but I am not in there as much. I have gone back into TOR as well. It is proving fun, though less people and RP (in general) than CO. We're still getting our feet wet, again, so to speak. Feel free to look for some of us in CO or TOR (HOTOOC channel).

Hi, Tanie. I am not in CO at the moment. I stopped (again) a bit ago. I am curious about Black Desert Online, and I was wondering if anyone in our group is trying it and might have some passes. It looks good, but I am not sure how much I'd like it, so I hate to pay for the box without some sort of test drive.

Thanks. I hope work is going better for you. I went ahead and bought the game and am playing and really enjoying it. Wow, so much to do. I haven't even looked into RP much yet, besides learning some of the game's lore. I have never been so 'busy' in an MMORPG. It's been quite fun so far.

They piled everything including the kitchen sink into this game, there is a lot of the game I don't even try to do.

My family name is Grisette on server Orwen, channel Calpheon 2. I am in a Darknest guild.

I am on Orwen, family name Aldorin.  I channel hop a lot, though.  I don't even really know what difference the channel makes, other than I presume it is some sort of sub-server?  It seems I need to be on Calpheon 2 to add you.  Odd.  It is advantageous to always play on the same channel, or is that only a matter for meeting up with other players?

My main is only level 23.  I am taking my time.  I have explored all sorts of gathering.  As far as crafting, I am focusing on cooking (with some side farming), but I have explored making horse gear as I have started training and breeding horses.  Pretty neat stuff.

I guess, also, that this is another of those games where you both have to be online to add a friend, as it keeps telling me "Cannot find the character."

You need to be on the same channel to adventure together, to do guild gathering quests, and that sort of thing. I am doing all sorts of gathering, stockpiling some of it and selling some of it on the AH, and working on setting up a manufacturing empire based on ship building, horse gear, furniture making, and of course tool making (this last is essential IMO). I do a bit of cooking too so I can raise my Health. I fish to raise money.

I don't try to level, I work in accumulating CP so I can get farms and mines supplying me with raw materials as well as facilities in some of the cities such as residences and workshops and level as a by product. I don't ride so my Breath keeps going up when I walk and this increases my Stamina.

You are intended to keep a character online much of the time to do afk things like fishing, walking, walking with a trade pack, or riding to raise various scores.

You should create alts even if they never get out of Olvia. While CP is shared among your family, Energy is separate for each character (but the scored is based on your highest level character) so each character can contribute Energy for gathering nodes or doing processing.

I figured one needed to be on the same channel for adventuring and such, but I wonder if there is any other benefit/requirement. Such as - can you chat with others on other channels (via guild or whisper, etc.), or must you be on the same channel for that despite being on the same server?

I have sold a lot on the AH, making what seems quite a bit of coin quite easily. And I also have a level 2 tool workshop. I also know about increasing stamina, strength, and health. I have read quite a few guides on the various skills and things like CP's and energy, etc. I am not -always- online, but I am quite a bit.

I also have created all my alts, and I used their initial CP's and now just use them for their energy.

I am pretty sure you can guild chat and the like from different channels, I have heard that the channel is also a sub instance, if you go somewhere crowded you can switch channel to see if there is a less crowded version.

Hello, everyone. I hope you are all well and that some of you are still occasionally checking this site.

Ken and I have gone back into ESO for a bit. Well, I say "back into", but it is Ken's first try. We have created new characters on the NA megaserver, because the EU one seems sparse for RP now. We were hoping to try to make a sort of House of Thorns in ESO. If anyone wishes to give it a whirl with us, please let me know. I am still dabbling in CO (which must be a record for me), though the RP has all but diminished. I am sure it will pick back up as it always does. I am also playing ESO and TSW Legends is launching Early Access today, which I plan to try and hopefully find some more of that dark RP I looked for in TSW.
