I'm currently playing GW2 (europe-side), for the most part.
Haven't roleplayed online much, as of late, but I occasionally peek in TSW, or a cryptic game every now and then.
Keeping an eye out on what games there are, and their potential for RP, in hopes of finding a new home once more.

I sure would like to get in Wildstar beta, but it hasn't happened. I am not sure what the current state is of our presence in TSW, as I sort of gave up on it (again). If things begin to become more regular, let me know. Otherwise, I am spending most of my gaming time in TOR. We have HOTOOC channels there on both sides, so if anyone drops in there, let us know.

Wildstar Beta is starting up again in December. I recently got a survey as an interested tester so check your spam folders. More invites going out next month

OK, I'll bite. What's the allure of Wildstar for you guys?

I like the art style, its bright and distinctive, The combat looks to be fast and fun like Tera or B&S, the tells seems like a great idea, I hate other games where you need to memorize that when Boss Z blows his nose you need to run and hide.
They also seem to have a great player housing system allowing you to create very creative interiors, I really enjoyed this in SWG and am looking forward to playing with interior design
But most of all they seem to have a great sense of comedy in their advertising and I'm hopeful that will extend into the game's quest and story line.

Because it is scifi and new and enough of us may be interested in it to get a regular presence going again in a game.

I also like the concept of the story, and I am interested in how they are going to implement the tailoring of gameplay based on the explorer-soldier-scientist-settler thing. That seems like it could be innovative to some degree.

Yeah the art is a turn off for me. I hadn't heard anything on it and so was wondering what fun stuff I might be missing.

I highly recommend checking out their page. While the art style is on the stylized cartoony side I don't mind that sometimes as it tends to age well. They have varying ideas of being able to do content how you want which I like the idea of. And there's been word that most of the content at least instance wise will scale to group sizes.

it looks interesting, but... not touching another NCsoft title ever again... sitting this one down.
